We visited Icon Park the last few times we visited Orlando and it was an exciting experience for the whole family. It’s also an easy family destination with lots to do and something for everyone to enjoy. We took our son when he was two and four and he enjoyed it both times!

Rides: Icon Park is home to various rides that will get your adrenaline pumping. Take a spin on the iconic 400-foot-tall observation wheel, The Wheel. We were lucky and got a whole car to ourselves. Ensure you have your phone to take epic photos of Orlando and connect to Bluetooth. Also, be sure to experience the excitement of the newer ride, the StarFlyer, a 450-foot-tall swing ride.

Interactive Attractions: Icon Park offers a range of interactive attractions that are perfect for families and groups. Take a virtual reality journey through the SEA LIFE Aquarium, or explore the mysteries of the universe at the Orlando Science Center. If you have little junior journeyers, take a ride on the little train; it’s beyond adorable.

We also spent some time and loose change at the indoor arcade, next to where you board The Wheel.

Dining: Icon Park is home to many dining options, from quick bites to sit-down restaurants. Try a juicy burger at Shake Shack or indulge in a gourmet pizza at Yard House.

Start with a drink in the grass area in the centre of Icon Park. I got my son a virgin daiquiri and a glass of sparkling wine for myself. We sat at a picnic table and people-watched for a bit.

We made a reservation at Charley’s Steakhouse, as it was one of the best steakhouses I’ve ever experienced. I started with the seared tuna and then shared a large porterhouse with my husband. They had a great kids’ menu and an incredible outdoor atmosphere.

Shopping: From souvenirs to fashion and jewelry, Icon Park has a range of shopping options to choose from. Browse the selection of unique gifts and accessories at the ICON Park retail stores, or pick up some new threads at one of the fashion boutiques.

Icon Park is the ultimate destination for anyone looking for excitement and a unique experience in Orlando – and it’s great for kiddos. With a wide range of attractions, dining options, and shopping, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at this world-class entertainment complex, whether you want to visit for an hour or spend the day.
